Mustashrik is jamming his creativity on something big (TBA).
Mustashrik’s manga Julius Caesar (an original adaptation of Shakespeare’s play) has received a Gold Award by NEO Magazine, the UK’s leading anime, manga and asian film culture publication; by attaining the maximum of a complete five star rating.
This years YCN Book, designed by HudsonBec, have invited Mustashrik to design/illustrate a tree as part of the project ‘World of YCN’, eight illustrated discs will form the contribution to what will be a huge creative collaboration.
An original and personal short story by Mustashrik, ‘Never Forget’ is available in publication within the pages of The Mammoth book of Best New Manga volume 2, a compilation of eclectic stories by rising storytellers from all over the world. The book is available at all good retailers such as Waterstones, and online via Amazon, Play.
Will be running a Graphic Art and Manga workshop for students, adapting Hogarth’s morality series, The Rakes Progress in conjunction with The Sir John Soane’s Museum in London.
Mustashrik’s 208 page Graphic Novel, Julius Caesar, published by Self Made Hero as part of the next Manga Shakespeare range, is available to buy (from June 2008) at all good retailers, including Amazon and Waterstones.
Mustashrik has directed and produced the music video and viral animations for the first song of Nizlopi’s return to the music scene. The song is called Start Beginning, from the album Make It Happen which is out now.
Mustashrik now has a blue guitar called Elizabeth after Adelaide was put to rest.
